Dr Esmail graduated from The University of Wales, College of Medicine in 2012 with honours, after also having completed a BSc in Neuroscience. After a 2-year foundation programme in Cardiff, he entered core medical training in the London Deanery in 2014 attaining his MRCP (UK) diploma. Currently, he is working at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS trust, London, as a second year core medical trainee. Dr Esmail has a passion for teaching and academia. Ultimately this inspired him to publish a question-writing book to help prepare medical students sitting their written finals (‘How to Pass Finals: Single Best Answers in Medicine’). Outside work, his interests include playing football and other sports.
